A very rare wardrobe trunk by Louis Vuitton dating to the early part of the 20th century (circa 1900/1910). Covered in the famous orange “Vuittonite“ canvas, this horizontal courier trunk is much rarer than its monogrammed brothers with its stain and water resistant canvas that was used on Vuitton’s trunks from the turn of the century to 1920‘s. Trunks covered with orange Vuittonite canvas are nowadays rather rare and therefore appreciated by collectors.
