An extremely large 19th Century gilt carved mirror with original mirror glass mercury plate giving a lovely soft warm reflection. The mouldings, gilt and mirror plate are in wonderful original condition, the mirror plate has characterful tarnishing. Made as an overmantel mirror for a large house with tall ceilings but equally fabulous as a leaning full length dressing mirror in your bedroom.
